Direct Access in Colchester

Direct access appointments allow you to see a dental hygienist without seeing a dentist. It is important to note that hygienists cannot diagnose and therefore suggest treatment, so they may recommend seeing a dentist. We currently have limited availability for these appointments. Please contact our team for more information.

From May 1st 2013, the General Dental Council lifted the barrier on having to see the Dentist for an examination first. So now you can see the Dental Hygienist anytime and at any practice without the need of seeing the dentist.

What can the Hygienist do for you?
