As we get older, the amount of hyaluronic acid that our body produces reduces and so dermal fillers are a useful way to top-up the skin’s natural production of this. Our dentist will inject the fine lines and wrinkles and the hyaluronic acid gels plump up the skin to make it look smoother and more youthful. You won’t feel a thing either, because we will use local anaesthetic in the area that is being treated. Again, the treatment will only take a few minutes, but you will be able to see the results instantly. You should also find that you don’t need further treatment until around 12 months afterwards. Dermal fillers can also be used for lip fillers, as well as facial, neck and hand contouring. Lip fillers need to be topped up every 6 months. FDA approved, this is another option for giving you the fresh, youthful look you want to see in the mirror.
